MR72: In this week’s episode, I talked with Melinda Howard. Once Melinda was 275 pound heavier. Over the year with the help of healthy diet and exercise, Melinda lost 170 lbs. Once she needed 24 hrs Oxygen support, now she is training to run a 100 miles race in December 2017. In recent years, she ran the London Marathon, the Berlin Marathon, and more. She has a lot of stories to tell us about her journey from couch to distance running.

In this episode, Melinda and I talked about:

– Melinda’s weight issue and how she lost 170 lbs
– Running/training/not giving up

  1. Thank you so much for sharing this podcast interview. Like yourself I have never met Melinda, but through Social media she has been such encouragement and inspiration to me in my running journey. She has such a beautiful laugh and I was laughing along so much. An incredible journey from when she lived in Colorado to training for her 100 miler in December. I am rooting for her that she will be able to run New York City! 🙂
